Selena Gomez struggles with work schedule

Selena Gomez admits her hectic work schedule is sometimes "overwhelming".

The 19 years old singer and actress, who is dating with the 17 years old pop superstar Justin Bieber; credits her family for keeping her grounded and stopping her going off the rails, but she admits she occasionally struggles to cope with all her different commitments.

She told to The Guardian newspaper: "I have a really great support system around me, and that keeps me straight". "It gets overwhelming at times, the scheduling, with touring, acting, my clothing line, music... there are times when you almost break down. Luckily, my mom is my manager so I've always got her with me."

In addition to her working commitments, Selena also had to find the time to study for her high school diploma during breaks from filming Disney TV shows "Hannah Montana" and "Wizards of Waverly Place".

Selena said recently: "I went to school until eighth grade. I was not the popular kid. I sat in the back, I had, like, two friends. I was mostly schooled on set. I liked that."
