Leona Lewis has a new look and a new sound for her third studio album, and the brand new single from it, "Collide" is debuting today.

The former "X Factor" winner, who we know best for her big ballads and Mariah Carey style vocals, is going in a different direction and has been working with some awesome writers and producers, including Sandy Vee (who's worked with Katy Perry), Chuck Harmony (who's worked with Rihanna) and loads more.

Her new dance-pop anthem is getting its first play on Scott Mills' Radio 1 show this afternoon  and Leona can't wait to share her new music with her fans.

She said: "I'm excited for people to see a different side to my music. I'm a fan of so many different generes and styles. For me this song has all the great ingredients of a summer anthem."

"Collide" is out on September 4 complete with an Afrojack remix, and her as yet untitled album will follow in November.
